1. Ownership and Intellectual Property

Anthologist is a platform for collaborative world-building and AI-assisted storytelling. The following rules apply to all content created on the site:

• License to Anthologist: By creating content (universes, world cards, elements, etc.) on Anthologist, you grant anthologist.ai a permanent, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and commercial license to use, display, modify, and distribute that content.
• Economic Rights: The economic rights to any universe and its related IP created through the site will be governed by a separate Content Creator Agreement to be established at a later date.
• AI-Generated Stories: You acknowledge that short stories produced on the site are explicitly AI-generated. Under current legal standards, AI-generated text may be uncopyrightable. Consequently, the raw text of these stories is freely licensed for use by anyone. However, the Universe, its characters, lore, and related intellectual property remain subject to the terms of ownership and licensing outlined in this document and the separate Content Creator Agreement to be established at a later date.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You agree not to use Anthologist to create or distribute any content that:

• Is hateful, harassing, or promotes discrimination.
• Is sexually explicit or contains "Not Safe For Work" (NSFW) material.
• Constitutes spam or unauthorized commercial solicitation.
• Promotes real-world political propaganda.
• Copyright Infringement: You are strictly prohibited from uploading or using content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others. This includes characters, names, or prose from existing copyrighted works. Anthologist has a zero-tolerance policy for copyright infringement.

3. AI Disclaimer

All stories and world elements produced on the site are generated by artificial intelligence. Anthologist does not editorially control or vet these works prior to publication, except as required by our prohibited content clauses. The views expressed in AI-generated content do not reflect the views of Anthologist.

4. Account Termination and Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms:

• First Violation: 7-day suspension.
• Second Violation: 30-day suspension.
• Repeated Violations: Permanent account deletion.

We reserve the right to skip these steps and proceed directly to deletion for severe violations at our sole discretion.

5. Limitation of Liability

Anthologist is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the reliability or accuracy of the service. We are not liable for any data loss, service interruptions, or content generated by the AI that may be perceived as offensive or inaccurate.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America.
